About Designer & Owner Elana Rubin:
Elana Rubin has over 20 years of experience in the pearl industry and is a Graduate of Pearls through the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) Graduate Pearls Gemology program.
She was once voted "Most likely to be the next Rodney Dangerfield," but alas designer Elana Rubin learned she made a better "sit down" comedian. She took a different career path, putting her interest in experimentation into jewelry design. She started working with pearls at the age of ten in the family jewelry business where she would sit side-by-side with her grandmother sorting and stringing pearls. Elana continued experimenting with lost wax casting and bench techniques while she was attending college at Marquette University.
She has written and consulted for Journals, Fashion Magazines and is a contributing writer for Fashion websites such as LifestyleDaily.com and StyleDiary.net.Her Jewelry Designs appear regularly in magazines such as Lucky, Vogue and Instyle and on TV Shows.
Elana resides in Wisconsin with her husband Ron, a Physician, and their three totally awesome kids.
Many of the pieces on this site are designed and handmade by Elana, however, we also carry pieces by other designers, Fine Estate Jewelry, loose diamonds & other gift items.
